As a child, teen, and young adult I had always loved to draw, paint, sculpt, and do basically anything else creative I could get my hands on. During my first year of community college I discovered printmaking and it hit me like a breath of fresh air. 
It combined everything I loved! Drawing, working with your hands, ink, and best of all, the surprise and joy you get each and every time you lift up a fresh print. My teacher said that every new print is like a gift to yourself that you get to unwrap and she wasn’t wrong. The process of printmaking is a long and gratifying one that ultimately gave me the confidence to pursue graphic design as a career.
